Our optional Fresh Air function lets you enjoy the comfort of air-conditioning combined with the freshness of outside air. It can work in two ways:

On automatic, it senses when the outside air temperature and humidity are lower than the inside temperature and then brings this fresh, cool air into your home. As the air has already been naturally cooled, the compressor has to do a lot less work. Independent tests estimate Fresh Air can lead to energy savings of up to 38% compared to regular systems

Alternatively, you can manually turn it on any time you want to replace the air in your home, for example after you’ve burnt the toast.

It’s also great for those summer nights when the outside temperature drops to 15-20 degrees, but inside is still hot. You can manually set your Gen III to bring in the cool, night air. As you are only using the low power consuming fan, and not the outdoor compressor, you save energy without losing your cool. What’s more, you can still temperature control the air so it doesn’t get too cold.
